OMG!!! OMG!!! OMG!!! This is the first post that I have since I got back to Singapore. I love Singapore. Singapore is my dearest ever country and I learnt to appreciate Singapore after 1month 10days away from it. I was so touched when I see the round thing on Singapore's airport. I was going crazy when we finally reached!!!
I have decided not to post all my photos as it is very troublesome. So I shall just post two photos. Haha! The first one is of a poster of a movie me and zijun watch. It is quite ok, but the cinema had practically no one. I am surprised at the coldness of the cinemas there. I think it is due to the 60rmb price. Nobody in the right mind there will go watch movie when there are so many pirated VCDs around. :P The second picture is at the pudong airport, waiting for the gates to open so we can finally step in the plane MU543 that will transport us back home sweet home.
When we finally touched down in Singapore, I scanned my passport which is biometric, so I reached out first, then go take luggage. While walking to the luggage place, I saw my mother and sister and father waving happily to me. I couldn't believe my eyes. I thought that I must be dreaming. How can it be that 1month 10days have finally past? When I got out of the doors, my mum hugged me and my father ask me how was I. I saw my sister in her RGS jacket. It is so oversized on her. :P I love my family. :P
Then we got home and I bathed and slept immediately. I only woke up next day when my mother call me. Then I said I became fatter and my father ask me to weigh myself, and I was like 1kg lighter?! I think the weighing scale spoiled! How can I possibly me lighter when I am a pig?! Anyway, I saw my table filled with toys and books my parents bought for me when I was away. I am so happy! Now I have a piglet and a care bear toy not forgetting a lamb toy from my cousin. (: I packed my luggage and realised that I do not have enough souvenir for everyone! Oh no! :(
Then I heard from my parents my ahgong was supposed to go taiwan, but his passport not valid for 6months and he had to come back alone and my ahma and my uncle all go overseas. I pity my ahgong. ): I think I will cry if it was me. Cos he came back alone at 2am in the morning?!
Then I went out with monkey today. Haha! We go watch twilight, and I don't really like it cos they changed alot of part and rushed through the movie so missed out a lot of details. Bella and Edward like suddenly so close. Then we went shopping at takshimaya, and monkey bought alot of things and wanted to keep them for herself?! She so naughty!
I am now going to sleep, cos pigs sleep alot! I shall go and sleep now! Bye!

OMG!!! I am going to back in Singapore in less than 24 hours. I am soooooo excited! I hope the airplane flies at the speed of a hummingbird or something. I just can't wait to go home. I have been in China for 1 month and 10 days!!! I want to get home as soon as possible! I want to see my cute family and my comfy bed. I am going to make my house remember me again! I hope that when I post my next post, it would be back in Singapore!!! (:
I am soo bored now. We are not allowed to go out today bcos they are scared we would be late for the midnight flight?! Anyway, we are trapped here till 5.30pm. I am so going to die. All those things that can be packed has already been packed. I am currently extremely bored so decided to go on internet, but no one one. Then zj busy packing.
This trip was a trip of endurance. I never thought I could endure until today...
This long and ardous journey,
Tests my perserverance and independence.
Let me learn to cherish what I have.
All in all, I am so glad to be going back.
China is ok for a short trip, but defnitely not for a trip this long. I hope that when I get back to Singapore- my lovable homeland, I can learn to fully appreciate this trip. (:

THE BIG COUNTDOWN! 3 MORE DAYS TO HOME SWEET HOME!
OMG! I can't believe it. Time flies I think. I can't believe my home is just 3 pathetic days away from me. It seems like yesterday that I picked up the thick stack of notes that have to be filled up for jiang3zuo4. And today I fill up the final one. I have been dreaming about home more frequently than ever only to find that I am always in a hotel room. I miss home soo much!!! I want to go back and hug my whole family!! ((:
GOOD NEWS FIRST! My PRO PRO sister got into Raffles Girl's Secondary School!!! SOOOO PRO RIGHT? I can't believe she is such a genius. CONGRATUATIONS that your dream has come true, Cherry!
Today we went to visit he2 fang2 jie1. We first went to some medicinal hall and see TCM. Then I tried some ginseng tea. I wonder how real ginseng taste like, cos the one I tasted was so diluted I would tink it was water if not for the slightly yellow colour water. Then I saw ling3 yang3. I felt disgusted, cos when I saw it I straightaway can feel the disgusting drain taste in my mouth. I took a picture of its prescription, so when go home can show mummy it is not for fever but for some other symptoms! So I don't need to drink it when I don't have those symptoms!
Then we went shopping. Then we went to another place watch movie. Actually was everyone suppose to watch, but in the end only me and zj watch. We watch fei1 cheng2 wu4 nao3. It is a ok show acted by shuqi and geliang. I tink the ticket is too expensive, but nvm, just watch for experience. The ticket is 60rmb!!! Today I think I spend the most money. Everytime spend also above 50rmb. I ate dinner at pizza hut with zijun. We ordered set meal 135rmb. Then got lucky draw then zj win. Haha. But then I dun tink we will get to use the winning ticket. ): Cos not valid in Singapore. But nevertheless, today was a fun day where I spent lots of money.
Tomorrow is free day. They bringing us to shopping centre. I tink maybe cannot buy anything again. But nvm, at least can shop right? (: Then I can't wait for Saturday at 5.30pm we are going to take bus to ShangHai PuDong Airport, and not log after my home will wave hi to me. I will bet my home misses me! :P

Before I blog today, I shall ask everyone a question, please answer me honestly.
The question is: Do I look like a chamber maid aka people who clear up rooms in hotels?
Today, me and zj were being accused of being chambermaid. We both felt uber insulted. I may have grown fat, but do I have a chamber maid look too?! The chambermaid was helping me and zj clean room. Then she went away to get clean bedsheets, then a guy came walking in our direction with his hands filled with dirty bedsheets. He insisted on giving us his bedsheets and ask us to help him change. Then we pointed to the chamber maid who was walking in our direction, then he ignored our gestures and seemed insistent in passing his bedsheets to us. Whatever, I think I have changed to look like a plump chambermaid. ):
Today's lecture was ok, I managed to stay awake for the whole thing. Although I think the lecturer always sha3 xiao4 to himself. I wonder if he enjoys laughing to himself.
I finish reading the storybook that I bought. I hate the ending, it leaves me dangling in the air. :( I wished they give proper ending, I hate having to guess endings. I am watching she4 diao1 now.
5 more day till I reach back to singapore. I can almost feel the greenery and taste the warm air in Singapore. OMG, I am hallucinating!

Still In HangZhou

MELODY misses SINGAPORE and my FAMILY!
Looking at the trees outside and feeling the cold wind blowing, I miss clean and green and most importantly warm Singapore. I am all ready to go home. I will bet my house have already forgotten me. My bolster and my toys are all waiting for me. Plus, I miss home cooked food. Although we have 10+ dishes everyday, I still miss Singapore's food.
Can't believe I managed to chiong finish my project for the professor to vet through. Thanks to senior. (:
Today we came out of qian1 dao3 hu4. qian1 dao3 hu4 is quite a beautiful place with all its islands together. The scenery was great on the 40rmb chairlift. Then we sat ship also, and I felt seasick. I hate sitting on ships and cars and anything moving. We ate on the ship, some mei2 cai4 and some fish that tastes very raw. But I shall not complain, as I have sort of gotten use to the food here... We stayed in a hotel which is like hotel 81. There are lots of weird things inside that implies it is sort of like hotel 81. I wonder why we stay in such a place. Anyway, I got scolded for asking questions. ): I shall not be curious and let curiousity kill me next time cos I do not want to get scolded anymore.
Then we go shao4 xing1 today. This place is famous for their chou4 dou4 fu. When that dish which is the last dish for our lunch came out, I almost puked, the smell is like dog shit. I thought someone just stepped on dog shit and came in. I did not eat it, cos I felt disgusted by the smell alone. The tourguide still say if the dou4 fu not smely enough it is bad tofu. I cannot stand that dish, but I have gotten use to mei2 cai4. I think it is ok. Then we went to visit many different standard architecture. There was one called shen3 jia1 yuan4. It is famous for a ku3 ming4 couple. They were cousins and they married, then bcos the girl never managed to give birth to children, the mother in law angry and forced them divorce. Then after 10 years they meet in this shen3 jia1 yuan4 again. They both remarried but still loved each other. So the girl felt ill and then died. I think this story very sad. So poor thing... Oh yar, I finally know what is yuan1 yang1. Last time I thought is is flamingo. :P Now then I know is mandarin duck...
I realised kang1 xi1 emperor love to write words. Many places that we visited have his writing on top of it. I heard he is a good emperor.
Tomorrow is zi4 xi2. I shall stay in room and rot with bdae girl Zijun. Haha. Now watching she4 diao1 ying1 xiong2 another version that have all the popular taiwan actors and actresses. I prefer the other version, cos the rong2 er2 more realistic. This rong2 er2 is not realistic, too modern and dun hav that attitude that rong2 er2 should have. :P
I feel abit hungry now, I think I have evolved more and turned from old pig to super old and fat and oily piggy! ):

Last Destination has finally arrived : HangZhou
The days in HangZhou seems to drag. My dear old home is so near yet so far...
Bad News! In HangZhou, we cannot use internet. We cannot use msn. Our room is not going to be cleared by anyone. We have to use money for every single thing including breakfast and lunch. The television does not have any nice shows that we want to watch except lu4 ding3 ji4 which shows at a time that we are not in. It is more dangerous here as my camera was almost stolen, thanks to a senior who help me save it, or else by now it will be gone. ): We have to complete our lun4 wen2. Everyone is so hard core here. Everyone started on lun4 wen2 already, that is except me.... I dreamt of a horrible dream a few nights ago, I dreamt that everyone except me finish the lun4 wen2 and I cried, cos teacher scold me. I think this horrible dream is going to come true. ): I feel horrible and piggy. My Ahyi commented that I look fatter! Oh No!!!! I don't want! I am becoming a pig already! Me and Zijun already analysed, at SuZhou, we are piglets, in Nanjing we are pigs, and now in HangZhou, we are full blown old pigs with fats enough to feed the whole world. ): I don't want those fats! I think it is due to the large amounts of oils which we consume each day. I ate a whole plate of fried rice today without blinking and still felt hungry after that! Furthermore, for dinner, I can eat around 3 bowls of rice plus lots of dishes without feeling full. I am seriously a old fat pig. I think I am dead meat!
I think xi1 hu2 is quite ok. I wonder why people are so fascinated by it. I enjoyed the boat ride bcos it was windy but I wonder why people love the lake so much. To me, a person who dunno how to appreciate scenery much, the lake is ok. I think maybe I never see it when it is in spring or something, cos people say there will be lots of blossoms blossoming and the scenery is breathtaking. I saw many couples taking wedding pictures and walking down lover's lane.
The lectures here are held in rooms that make people want to sleep. My eyes keep closing and I cant help myself. Today, we went to visit some school, and I made friends with one girl. Plus, there's this guy who insisted onusing english and went around giving every students his contact number. I think he wants to improve his english. I found out a surprising thing for my report: in Zhejiang, people will not buy china products and don't trust china products. This is very different from Nanjing where everyone chose to buy china products bcos they love their country. I wonder what is it that constitutes to this difference. I am going to have to be hard core for the next few days.
On Saturday and Sunday, we are going out and staying outside for one night. We are going to another island and staying there for one night. Which means we have to pack some stuff to go there for spending one night. ): I rather we stay here. I don't want to move here and move there.
Zijun is currently bathing, after she bath come out I have to go. But I think it is going to take a long time since she said she wanted to spa. I am going to die outside! :P My sis aka MOMO is currently ignoring me on web messenger. I feel so sad. ):
I miss my home again! I cant wait for the day I can say I have been in China for one month! I am so going to wait for that day. Plus I cant wait to see DURIAN BISCUITS, MOMO and last but not least FROGGY. Haha. I already made a list of what I am going to do when I get home. I am just bursting to get home. I am in trouble now, cos I never buy anything much for anybody. I have to buy things! I must buy things. Or else I will be a horrible stingy person who does not spend money and end up with having more money when I get back to Singapore.

Cup Noodles Life

Time flies, and even if the days are bad, they pass, and even if the days are good, they still pass.
I realised that the days in Nanjing pretty much fly past, just when I am getting use to this standard routine, we are going to be leaving soon. I guess thats life, we have to adapt as we go.
Today, I went out to give surveys with Yijia again. Yijia really very daring, she approached this group of gangster looking like guys, and managed to get them to help do survey. They were like asking us about Singapore, and whether chewing gum and smoking is against the law. When we said yes, they asked what would happen if they chewed gum and smoked, and we said go jail, and they starting laughing and saying that if they live in Singapore, they would wind up in jail everyday. We are thankful to get more people to help us to do surveys today. Although we spent 3 hours, it was worth it. Furthermore, today many people realised that Singaporeans actually speak chinese, 2 friends even commented that our chinese were better than Hongkong people. However, they also know about our Singlish. Which is not that good a culture I think. :P I think Singapore's government is really good in the sense that they implement this policy. It is really beneficial to us in the long term.
Today, we went shopping again at the same place. As usual, I did not spend a single cent. At this rate, I might wind up having more money when I come back cos they always give us around 100rmb at each place. I am NOT stingy, is just that there is really nothing for me to buy.
I am now chatting with my family, and I dunno why, but from my sister's msn talking and from the posts on her blog she seems to be like a changed person. The way she talk and writes on her blog is like so grown up! I think when I go home I wont even recognise her, cos she is also going to be secondary already. Moreover, she is a genius! I am proud to have such a great clever sis, who always beat me in msn games. :P
I cant wait to go home to see my family again. I miss Singapore's tropical weather and the Singlish. Over here, I try my best to speak in Chinese only, cos if we speak in english, we are only courting trouble. Weird people will follow us and we cannot haggle well if they know we are foreigners.
I am now eating instant noodles, cos nothing on the streets appeal to me. I still feel hungry nowsadays even after eating one instant noodles and drinking milo! I am a pig. I admit. Cos today I finished one whole big bowl of rice and a whole plate of potato, and I still felt hungry. How much of a pig can I be?! I am just going to eat everything up when I go home!
